Simple As...

This week was bastante loco (pretty crazy), we were a FULL (a fool as the tinans would say).  At the zone conference I got married (yikes that was quick), but after the ejemplo (example) prez let me be single again.  lol an hermana said i made a rly (really) cute wife and i told her that´s the only time she´ll see me married (x  lol we´ll see

De verdad (Really), nothing tooooo insane happened this week (aside from a near death experience after drinking 1.5 liters of water and going to a class that went over by 20 minutes bahah) so I thought I´d share algo (something) that I actually learned.

We´ve been really challenged to be bold this past zone conference.  If I want to see milagros (miracles), i have to get out there and make them happen. as simple as that! (: I have to go work and share our message with everyone I can.  One of the things prez said was that when he was home, he could see the conversion of the missionaries he knew through their weekly emails.  and I don´t think i´ve been showing you mine.

Sooo, it may be something that some of you may not want to read, but that´s okay (: I´m happy to share it and you can scroll away if ur not d.

guys.  I really 100% believe that this church, this gospel, this way of life, etc, is true.  I believe that the standards that has the church are true.  They´re hard and unpopular sometimes, they can be uncomfortable in pressured situations, but I believe that they are true.  I completely support the stands that this church has, not because I´m a mindless missionary robot, but because I´m a person who has prayed and read scriptures and thought about it.  I´ve lived them and given them a try and I know by experience that they are true.  I know that the book of mormon is true and that it has the power to change lives.  I´ve seen countless times here (and also in my own life) the different that reading this book and acting on it makes in life.  And i´m going to keep living it because I love the difference that it makes.  MY DUDES.  i love this gospel.  and i have loved the experiences that i´ve had to be in argentina and share the love that i feel for others with others.  I know that God lives and that Jesus Christ is our savior.  Through Him, anything is possible.  I know that.  Because I´ve lived that.

yomies.  this week was super mega rad.  WE DID SO MUCH! we didn´t have a cap abi (open chapel) this fin de entonces (this weekend) we got to work all the week (: and i loved it!!!  I rly (really) love working with these people and it´s the best.  BUT IT WAS BIEN LOCA (very crazy). we killed buckley  (Hermana Buckley went home) and had her replacement for a day (hna de las nieves)  and dropped her off at the terminal the next day for transfers, went and snagged launch (we ate "air potatoes" and i felt like the Avatar) and came back to the dept to find 3 other chicks to stay with us (the expecting mothers) (sisters that are going to be training).  and then when they left wednesday, it was weird cuz it was only nala and i... lol the house feels super empty.

But something rad about killing someone (may she rest in peace) is that they leave you their "Oral B Glide Pro-Health Multi Protection Floss" flavor clean mint (sponsor me) and you get the sweet satisfaction of AMAZING FLOSS morning and night.  lol i didn´t realize how much i hate the floss here until i got to get the floss from the states.  YOU ALL ARE SO BLESSED.

also our boi elder allen (who dies friday, yikes) had a concert with his frans (friends) that play clarinete and we got to go! (:  and i know all of you who were in band in middle school, or supported a sibling through that adolescent crisis may have harsh memories of the clarinet section (i mean i do... i definitely played that lol) are probably cringing hearing this, but i´m here to tell ya, there´s something else... THE AFTERWORLD (name that song) 

lol but forillo (for real), IT WAS SO FUN I DIED.  they played a rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody and nala and i str8 JAMMED.  truly transcendental.

Bueno, miles disculpas perooo (Well, a thousand apologies)..... I FORGOT MY CAMERA AND SO I CANT SEND PICS IM SO SORRYYYYY.  i´ll send them all next week i promise.

hey howdy hey!! How are you all doing!!!!

Wow, every week i say this but it never ceases to be true.... THIS WEEK FLEW BY SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO HIT THE BREAKS?!?!?  but on the rillo.  i don´t understand how time functions anymore.

but anyways.  that´s how it goes i suppose.

yooo sooo this week was ultra rad.  i think one of the funnest thing that happened was that we got to go work/hang out with some joven members all of thursday afternoon!  It was so sososo rad to be able to walk around and have them meet all of the people that we´re teaching and have em share their testimonies and stuff.  IT WAS SO FUN.  my dudes.  i think the biggest regret that i have from before the mishy is not going out to go help the missionaries and just hanging out and doing mission stuff with em!  I always thought that they were super stale people who walked around doing weird things.... but they´re not lol missionaries are normal and so are the people they teach!  (how lame that it took me 8 years on the mission to figure that out... lol whoops.)

aaaaand the next thing that happened wasn´t actually amazing.  SO.  friday was the 13th and we were all spooked cuz it was friday the 13th and everyone knows that terrible things happen on friday the 13th.  but this friday? NOTHING HAPPENED.  it all waited for saturday hahaha when we were in necochea doing our capilla abierta thing, it was all super mellow. ...until it wasn´t.

I was preparing my launch (rice crackers and tuna fish) and THE TUNA FISH CAN EXPLODED AND PAINTED ME IN FREAKING TUNA.

not a delightful experience, to say the least.

and in that moment (actually like 30 minutes later) i realized that dried tuna fish smells like the left arm pit of my great enemy SATAN. 

aaaand i got to hang out for the rest of the day working the parfum "chateu de satanás" and teaching people about the gospel.

dudes.  that is the last time i travel without a can opener aaaand i also think that was the last (and first) time i´ll ever eat tuna at a cap abi.  I think i´m gonna go buy a normal perfume or something so i can at least intent to mask my everlasting shame of the tuna explosion. idk. we´ll see.

Dad's Pub & Grub in Monroeville, PA

Ah, beautiful Monroeville, Pennsylvania. A great place to buy a car, chip in a few bucks for this lovely new road they have been building for 80+ years that locals affectionately call "The Turnpike," or maybe even stop in to an old favorite restaurant for a personal pan pizza.

The heartbreak you feel when you find out that your favorite pizza place has turned into something else... yeah you aren't alone in that. In fact, our good friend Pittsburgh Dad feels the same way:

I don't think yinz are gonna find any Pizza Huts around here. But there is always Dad's (Pittsburgh Dad's?) Pub & Grub in Monroeville to help satisfy your hunger.  Sure, they added a little outdoor seating area and a fresh coat of paint, but the unmistakable shape of the old hut remains.

Now, off to find a Long John Silvers that isn't a payday loan place...

haha soooo i couldn´t think of a rad title for this email so i´m going with what i thought to be one of the lyrics of a talking heads song?  It talks about nuts and berries (you got it, you got it) and i can´t think of the title.  12 points if you can send me the lyrics lol <3

we had a zone conf and met the prez and his wife officially and to show the stuff that they like to do, they used bitmoji sooo they´re basically already my favorite people haha.  We live super close to them so hna hymas and us go running sometimes in the mornings (:  I love it.  I´m mega stoked to get to know these two better cuz they are SO SWEET ITS CRAZY.  like super insane.  they walk in the room and you can FEEL the love that they have.  it´s nuts!!! I love them.

for the 4th of july (i was a queso and didn´t take pix sorry) we had an office party and had pizza for lunch and stuff and it was super fun (:  i love the squad.

another freaky thing was that when we were going to travel to TRENQUE <3 some dude id checked me cuz he thought i was underage??? the people here have been telling me that i´m like 28 sooo that was a giant shocker haha.

BUT WE WENT TO TRENQUE ADN IT WAS SO COOL!!!!! guys that was such a rad experience.  i love love love love my people there.  it was so amazing to be able to hang out with my old squad and see how the investigators are doing, but the coolest was being able to hang out with fernando.  it´s weird cuz I MISS THAT DUDE he is such a savage and so awesome.  i miss the members sort of but i really miss my investigators and the people that i was working with.  i was talking with my comps about it and we really feel like god blesses us with more love for our people when we´re here.  it´s nuts.  i meet the people and i already care about them so much.  it´s so weird cuz i can´t remember their last names, but i care about them.  deeply. 

i think that´s been one of the coolest parts about being here.  i love being able to care about these people and feel a little bit of how I know that God cares for me and each one of you.  I love feeling the love for these people (: and i´m gonna do my best to keep that up without the tag (not trunky lol just aware that i wont have it forever).

Como ha sido su semana!!! (how's your week been?)

Yomies, this week was a FULL with a lot of crazy things.  some of the most craziest were that we got to go to the airport and say bye to my parents of the mission.  it was kinda super cool cuz just the office went (the chosen ones <3) and so we got to chit chat and enjoy for a little bit.  i really dug it.. but...

  I AM SO BUMMED THAT THEY HAD TO GO I LOVE THE CIFUENTES!!!! but its okay cuz i got to know the new prezzies and they`re pretty cool.  so far (;  We have a conference with them tomorrow and interviews on wednesday so i´ll keep yall updated on what goes down

we travel a toooon and this week we got to go to necochea to help train the branch that is gonna have an open church thing in 2 weeks and it was yucky weather so i did´t take any pics lol sorry but we`re going back soon soooo i´ll send you the views in a few don´t you worry.  It was super fun cuz i got to hang out with my other child!  Finlayson!  It was cool seeing her and listening to her speak spanish.  she speaks SO WELL and im dying cuz my spanish has gone straight to the disposal.. yikes.  but i learned that while i may not be able to sleep on the buses, I can crochet lol soooo i´ve been working on a hood thingie.  i´ll send it when it´s done haha i promise it´s not too lame lol

aaaand yes.  we got to say hi to the new prez today and he´s super sweet and awesome! I am way stoked to get to know him better (: His wife is rad.

also, we´re going to trenque this weekend for their church thing and I AM SO STOKED i love my people over there (: yay!  lots of picture promises, but yes.  i promise to sendyou all the details haha.
