sooo, this week we went to Bahia and Punta Alta cuz mom´s job is a traveling job lol super exciting. And we rode to bahia with some members and their pequeña (little one) looked at my hands and asked, "what happened to make your thumbs so small?" feeling great that my weird thumbs are weird no matter what hemisphere i´m in (´: *two stubby thumbs up*
also, in the drive we discovered that there are FLAMIGOES j (just) chilling in argentina. is this country magical? I sure think so.
okie kids, ready for a lesson in the culture of argentina? Super cute, everyone greets everyone here in a super cute way: air kisses by the cheek. it´s awesome! I feel like it makes everyone feel loved and appreciated yay. K, but as missionaries, we only exchange besos (kisses) with females cuz kissing boiz is against the rules, go figure. Pero (but), it´s super difficult for algunas personas (some people) to change their culture cuz they´re old and it´s engrained. Get where i´m going with this? I was out and about in Punta Alta and we knocked on this door and an old dude came out and thought i was his neighbor and gave me a huge beso and hug and wouldn't let go of my arm/had his arm around my shoulders/was holding my hand/etc for most of the 20 minutes that we were talking to him WHILE TRYING TO BACK AWAY SLOWLY bahaha it was awesome. and to top it all off, he gave me a nice big friendly beso ON MY MOUTH. wow, i never thought this would happen, but i was kissed by an old man in Argentina. bahaha the craziest people inhabit argentina and it´s my fave.
look alikes spotted this week: Donny Osmond, the child version of Ego (the food critic form rattitoulli) and Olan Rodgers.
