HOLA MY DUUUUDES!!!!
Guys. This week. Flew by. (Have i said that before? Lol). And this week we were in our area the whole time!! It was a packed week. But it was awesome. I learned a TON from the conferencia general que tuvimos los ultimos dos dias (general conference that we had the last two days). I LOVED IT. I almost slept a little but when i focused myself a little more, it worked out!!!! It was awesome. The conference brought me down to earth. I feel more grounded and i loved the talks.
The womens session was pointed at something i’m not stoked about (for the forseeable future haha) but i’m okay with it. Going into the conference i had been praying to learn what the Lord wants from me aaaaand after a spiritual slap in the face i think i found the answer i had been praying for hahaha, sometimes i regret asking things i sort of kind of already know because there’s always a big drop of cane to wake me up haha, buuut it was cool.
Something that struck me was the talk about forgiveness and reconciliation. It was awesome to see and feel the importance of being a peacekeeper and a peace seeker. I loved the admonishment of going to ask forgiveness instead of waiting to be asked. Being meek enough to step out of your comfort zone to ask forgiveness is super rough, especially when you’re unsure if the forgiveness will be given, but i’m excited to try it out. I’m sure with my GIGANTIC MOUTH AND NO FILTER BRAIN i’ve offended someone along the way so this’ll help me out a bit (;
I encourage you guys to go and read what we just learned! And if you didn’t watch conference, i invite you to go give it a try. Even if you’re not a member of the church of jesus christ of latter day saints. It’s got some life lessons that are sure to help every one of us be a better person.
I LOVE YOU MY DUDES!!!!
HH
(Sorry for the lack of pictures.... there’s no way to use a pendrive with an ipad.)
Also don’t stress about me being in the house of hymas, we’re just helping her prep for her cena (dinner) with all the missionaries that are going home, nothing bad haha
